Professional Curiculum for Acrobatic Dance
Welcome to Acrobatic Arts, a professional curriculum for acrobatic dance. This program is designed to promote excellence in tumbling, flexibility, strength, balance, contortion, and partner/group stunting for dancers. Through this program, teachers will receive valuable teaching tools to assist in developing the muscle groups, flexibility, and technique required to perform tumbling and partner/group tricks on stage as part of a complete dance routine. Dancers will be inspired to excel, progressing through ten exam levels.
Developed by a successful studio owner and acrobatics teacher with decades of experience, the syllabus takes teachers and students through thoughtful progressions, beginning a with the simple Forward Roll, and culminating with tricks such as Front Aerial (Walkover) and Back Layout.
